ABOUT US
Jeffco Connections (JC) is the collaborative management program in Jefferson County, Colorado. JC is currently comprised of 26 family serving entities and jurisdictions within the county, who strive to develop innovative and collaborative initiatives within the county. The Board is represented by the Directors and elected officials of agencies and jurisdictions, some of which are required partners as spelled out in HB1451 (e.g. human services, public health, mental health, judicial, school, etc.). JC is the oversight body for the 7 subcommittees in Jefferson County, which focus on detailed work in identified areas of need in the county. Those subcommittees include child welfare, prevention, education, housing, human trafficking, juvenile justice, and health. Working groups are formed from time to time within the subcommittees to tackle projects that require a great deal of work, focus, and input. They are typically time-limited.
